mdf commerce Inc. is a global team of experts who develop innovative SaaS solutions to optimize commercial interactions for B2B and B2G customers.

We are seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead our team at Orckestra.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of department heads: Sales, Professional Services, Products, Marketing (75 to 80 employees in total).
  • Develop and implement a growth strategy.
  • Establish objectives and key performance indicators aligned with strategy.
  • Engage team in execution of initiatives and monitor achievement of KPIs.
  • Develop strategy for products, marketing, sales, development, service and support.
  • Clearly communicate strategy, priorities and results to employees and management team.
  • Monitor the sales pipeline and the achievement of sales team objectives.
  • Ensure efficient management of human, financial and technological resources.
  • Develop the budget, support it with detailed analyses and ensure appropriate operational follow-up.
  • Contribute to a healthy risk management.
  • Ensure fluid and frequent communication (top-down and bottom-up) and promote exchanges between the various departments and with others in the company.
  • Maintain communications with clients and the market.
  • Be involved in certain key/targeted client activities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key partners.
  • Embody the company's values and foster the right environment for them to be conveyed within the team.
  • In line with the company's values, ensure healthy employee management while promoting internal development.
  • Be a leader in the service of the team.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated managerial skills and collaborative, mobilizing leadership.
  • Ability to adapt, make decisions and innovate in a competitive and constantly changing environment.
  • Proven ability to synthesize and analyze, as well as excellent judgment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent English and French language skills, both oral and written, due to frequent interactions with English and French speaking internal and external colleagues and partners across Canada and internationally.
  • University degree in business administration, business management, or other relevant field.
  • 10 to 15 years of experience that have enabled you to leverage your business acumen.
  • At least 5 to 7 years' experience in a general management position.
  • Understanding of software development and web technologies.
  • Experience in the SaaS technology industry. Experience in the e-commerce sector would be a strong asset.
  • Experience in successful management of large-scale technological implementation projects.
