About the Role

CIE_101 Beneva Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Services Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing business relationships with our clients and identifying opportunities to grow our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our financial products and services, as well as those of our competitors.
  • Analyze client needs and provide recommendations to senior management on product and service enhancements to maintain or improve our competitive position.
  • Plan, organize, and execute solicitations of groups and actuaries for various financial products and services.
  • Support other representatives in the implementation of financial products and services.
  • Analyze changes to regulations, contracts, forms, or other documents to justify them to clients and present them for acceptance.
  • Identify key features of financial products and services under your responsibility and use them as sales arguments with clients.
  • Support group managers and actuaries by providing necessary documentation, information, and explanations.
  • Regularly visit groups and actuaries to develop business and maintain a privileged relationship.
  • Explain financial products and services to group managers, members, and actuaries.
  • Prepare and deliver courses on investment fund management and pension plan administration.
  • Participate in organizing activities, writing documents, and presenting or distributing them to promote our products and services to clients.
  • Analyze request for proposals and bid documents for financial products under your responsibility to prepare and present the company's position.
  • Present a weekly report on your ongoing business and, upon request, any other report related to your department's activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in administration or equivalent.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in selling financial products.
  • Hold a securities advisor permit and a group retirement fund advisor permit, or commit to obtaining them.
  • Fluency in French, both written and spoken, as well as advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken, due to the nature of tasks or interactions with colleagues, partners, clients, or suppliers who are English-speaking, or to meet the company's growth objectives.
