About the Role

Pine View Auto Sales Brampton Inc. is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components of automotive systems, and repairing or replacing mechanical units or components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, ensuring that all systems are functioning properly.
  • Adjust, Repair or Replace Parts and Components: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems, including brakes, suspension, and steering systems.
  • Repair or Replace Mechanical Units or Components: Repair or replace mechanical units or components, including engines, transmissions, and drivetrain systems.
  • Test and Adjust Repaired Systems: Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications, ensuring that all systems are functioning properly.
  • Estimate Parts and Labour Cost: Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, providing accurate and transparent estimates to customers.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance Service: Perform scheduled maintenance service, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Complete Reports: Complete reports to record problems and work performed, providing detailed and accurate records of all work completed.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
  • Language: English
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
