Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Worker to join our team at the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA). As a Rehabilitation Worker, you will play a critical role in providing rehabilitation services to patients in our Minimum and Medium Security Units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans for patients, taking into account their unique needs and goals.
  • Work collaboratively with the inter-professional team to provide recommendations and participate in the development of individualized rehabilitative treatment plans for patients.
  • Conduct rehabilitation assessments and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  • Participate in the development of new program curricula and materials to support the achievement of desired treatment outcomes.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, ensuring that equipment and supplies are stored appropriately and accounted for.

Requirements

  • Graduation from a recognized recreational, rehabilitation or related health or human services program plus two years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Valid Food Safe Certificate.
  • Valid Class 4 BC Driver's License.
