Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Food and Beverage Server to join our team at New Minas Irving Big Stop. This role is essential in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 to less than 5 years in a similar role is preferred.
Work Environment

The position is based in a restaurant setting, where you will interact with customers and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities
  • Present bills to customers and process payments via cash, credit or debit cards, travelers cheques, or room billings.
  • Provide detailed descriptions of menu items, including daily specials, to enhance customer experience.
  • Balance cash and accurately record sales transactions.
  • Maintain cleanliness by clearing and sanitizing tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Greet patrons warmly, present menus, offer recommendations, and respond to inquiries regarding food and beverages.
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to ensure guest satisfaction.
Technical Skills

Familiarity with a point of sale system is essential for this role.
