Bureau Veritas Laboratories is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Sample Reception Coordinator. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our sample reception process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process external client samples in a timely and efficient manner
  • Unpack and organize samples according to analytical requirements
  • Ensure accurate data entry and sample tracking
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communication to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure seamless sample processing and analysis
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree in a science-related field (e.g., chemistry, biology, environmental science)
  • Experience in a laboratory environment is an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and laboratory software
