About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at LALLI BRO'S EXPRESS. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledgers.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, and maintain accurate records of employee benefits.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, including GST and other applicable taxes.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management, including statistical and financial reports.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and QuickBooks. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on maintaining the highest level of financial integrity.
