Job Summary:

NorLand Limited is seeking a skilled Health and Safety Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure health and safety team, you will play a critical role in fostering a culture of collaboration and active participation in health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement safety procedures in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Regulations.
  • Collaborate with project managers and supervisors to develop site-specific health and safety plans and job hazard assessments.
  • Conduct regular site safety inspections and provide support to the operations team for all HSE-related matters.
  • Develop and deliver OHS training and new hire orientations.
  • Monitor regulatory developments in health and safety and ensure compliance with new and revised obligations.

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of OHS experience in construction or oil and gas.
  • Post-secondary education in health and safety or a related field.
  • Proven ability to achieve results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with third-party safety management and compliance reporting systems.
