About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Logistics Manager to join our team at Legend Transportation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods from point of origin to destination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shipping and Tracking: Arrange for shipping documentation and track the movement of goods in transit to ensure timely delivery.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all transportation activities comply with relevant regulations and laws.
  • Policies and Standards: Establish and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods, ensuring that they are aligned with company objectives.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods, ensuring that they are allocated efficiently and effectively.
  • Revenue Management: Monitor and control transportation service rates to ensure optimal revenue generation.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure that goods are stored and transported efficiently.
  • Operations Planning: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure that they are aligned with company objectives.
Working Environment

As a Transportation Logistics Manager at Legend Transportation, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve company objectives.

Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Trucking company.
  • Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
