Job Title: Transportation Logistics Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Logistics Manager to join our team at Legend Transportation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth transportation of goods from our warehouses to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Shipping and Tracking: Arrange for shipping documentation and track the movement of goods in transit to ensure timely delivery.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all transportation activities comply with relevant regulations and laws.
  • Policies and Standards: Establish and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods, as well as the setting of transportation service rates and revenue monitoring.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage working groups to achieve operational goals.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in transportation logistics or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
