Job Title: Transportation Logistics Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Logistics Manager to join our team at Legend Transportation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods from point of origin to destination.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Shipping and Documentation: Arrange for shipping documentation and track the movement of goods in transit.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all transportation activities comply with relevant regulations.
  • Policy Development: Establish and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods, as well as the setting of transportation service rates and revenue monitoring.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
  • Team Leadership: Lead working groups and provide guidance and support to team members.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Setting: Trucking company.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
