Position Overview

Are you a dedicated and registered Occupational Therapist eager to utilize your expertise in a supportive and innovative environment? We have an exciting opportunity for you to contribute your strong work ethic to our Primary Care division.

In alignment with a person and family-centered care model and adhering to Northern Health's vision for an ideal health service system rooted in Primary Health Care, the Primary Care Occupational Therapist (OT) collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to formulate care plans and deliver health services coordinated through the Primary Care Home.

The OT practices in accordance with the professional standards and ethical guidelines established by the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia.

The OT ensures competent, safe, and ethical care for individuals and their families in various settings, including physician offices, residences, facilities, and community environments, applying evidence-informed practices to achieve positive outcomes related to their engagement in meaningful activities.

Through comprehensive clinical assessments, treatment planning, recommended interventions, and follow-up, the occupational therapist plays a vital role in realizing the overall care plan developed by the interdisciplinary team, informed by the individual's personal care goals.


Compensation :
The updated wage is: $52.95/hour

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia.
