The Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Staff Fullstack Software Developer to lead our technical team in Winnipeg. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for shaping the architecture and direction of our services, mentoring others, and driving technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure high-quality software delivery
  • Shape the future of our system design through technical planning and strategic initiatives
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and bring new ideas to the table
  • Lead others by example and expand their knowledge through mentorship and pair programming
  • Drive the adoption of best practices in the development process
Requirements
  • Expertise in back-end development, including data, APIs, queues, security, and scalable systems
  • Confidence with concepts like coupling/cohesion, idempotency, and distributed transactions
  • Experience with technical planning and effective communication
  • Mastery of programming principles and one or two programming languages
  • Advanced experience in TypeScript and GraphQL
  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and CI/CD
