Position Overview
The Investment Operations team supports various Credit Investment divisions with transaction management, asset servicing, investment accounting, reporting, and valuations.
We are looking for an Analyst to assist with the daily accounting and oversight of the Private Credit Investments portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate daily investment operations activities; ensuring precision in trade tickets and accounting entries, completeness of supporting documentation, validation of transaction amounts, and ensuring necessary authorizations are in place to enable investment closings Assist in transaction funding for diverse credit investments and support term loan settlements promptly Contribute to the timely and accurate completion of various reports and reconciliations related to benchmarking, portfolio holdings, and P&L Aid in the timely preparation of holding reports, PnL reports, and performance reports to ensure accuracy and completeness, while providing valuable insights and commentary Support the daily pricing process for principal credit, intellectual property, and credit fund investments Deliver insightful analysis of operational or business challenges and provide guidance in determining corrective actions; promptly escalate irregular activities or issues Maintain effective working relationships with internal investment teams and external asset managers to ensure issues are addressed and resolved, and financial controls and reporting requirements are met Establish a reputation as a subject matter expert in the private investments sector concerning investment operations and accounting Ensure ongoing compliance with reporting requirements and address discrepancies when exceptions arise Continuously strive for operational excellence; seek opportunities to streamline processes, enhance operational efficiencies, and foster a culture of continuous improvement, robust controls, and data integrity Ensure process documentation is consistently updated Prioritize workload effectively to meet deadlinesRequired Qualifications:
Undergraduate or Master's Degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related field Professional designations such as CBV, CFA, or CPA are advantageous Minimum of 1+ years of relevant experience Strong problem-solving abilities, comfortable navigating uncertainties Solid understanding of debt instruments and investment accounting Strong analytical, financial, and management accounting skills are essential for this role Advanced Excel proficiency and willingness to learn new systems Team-oriented individual who thrives in a high-performance culture and is adaptable to changing priorities Proven ability to lead and mentor a high-performing team Strong interpersonal and organizational capabilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of professionalism Exceptional prioritization and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail Self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable Exemplifies our Guiding Principles of integrity, partnership, and high performance-
