In-Scope Position

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY

The Corporate Auto Fund Partnership Liaison is tasked with cultivating and sustaining productive business relationships with Auto Fund partners and stakeholders. This role is essential in enhancing customer and partner experiences, promoting traffic safety, and ensuring operational efficiency. Responsibilities include identifying partnership enhancement opportunities, facilitating development initiatives, and tracking outcomes against established performance metrics. Collaboration with Auto Fund departments is crucial to fortify partner relations, address challenges, and provide strategic recommendations that align with corporate goals. Some responsibilities may require travel and overnight stays.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Partnership Procurement and Consultation

  • Collaborates with Legal and Auto Fund departments to assist in the creation, renewal, and modification of contracts with external partners.
  • Supports the Request for Proposal process in conjunction with Purchasing, Auto Fund Operations, and Traffic Safety.
  • Acts as a liaison to coordinate and schedule consultations between internal and external stakeholders to facilitate partnership procurement.
  • Develops and nurtures effective business relationships with partners, vendors, and Auto Fund departments, gaining insight into various areas of expertise.
  • Collects, analyzes, and compiles feedback from external stakeholders and customers to assess satisfaction with Auto Fund offerings. Generates reports for Auto Fund departments and senior management detailing stakeholder feedback.
  • Collaborates with Customer Insights to interpret survey data and derive actionable conclusions.

Partnership Management

  • Works with Auto Fund business areas to establish partner performance objectives, monitor outcomes, and recommend improvements. Engages relevant internal partners to resolve issues promptly and effectively, ensuring successful partnerships.
  • Partners with Corporate Auto Fund Training to reinforce and coach internal staff on relationship management and procurement best practices.
  • Conducts reviews with Auto Fund departments to pinpoint growth and efficiency opportunities that align with partner objectives.
  • Collaborates with Auto Fund business areas to identify, analyze, and translate partner performance metrics into actionable strategies for enhancement.
  • Responds to inquiries and correspondence from partners and Auto Fund personnel in both oral and written formats.
  • Cultivates and maintains relationships with industry stakeholders to stay informed on market trends and activities.
  • Coordinates and participates in partner training sessions, seminars, and conferences to observe and assess developments.

  • Strong knowledge of contract management principles.
  • Proficient in report writing and conducting consultations, surveys, interviews, and presentations.
  • Fundamental understanding of the services provided by the division, partner agencies, and associations.

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS

  • Two-year diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution in a relevant field, such as Business, or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's license required.

EXPERIENCE

  • 3 – 5 years of experience in account and partner management.
