We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sushi Chef to join our team at Sushi & Noodle Bar in Fortino's. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as training staff in food preparation and handling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques to ensure consistency and excellence in our dishes.
  • Order supplies and equipment to maintain a well-stocked kitchen and ensure efficient operations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen efficiency.
  • Clean and maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of Japanese cuisine.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to train and lead staff effectively.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and adapt to changing demands.
