About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sushi Chef to join our team at Sushi & Noodle Bar in Fortino's. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality sushi dishes, as well as training and supervising staff in food preparation and handling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring we have the necessary resources to meet demand.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for staff and customers.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Attention to detail, handling heavy loads, physically demanding work, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
