Job Title: Production Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Production Clerk to join our team at Don Schelew Dry Cleaning / Sameday Dry Cleaners. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Track and Complete Work Orders: Accurately track and complete work orders to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Monitor Movement of Supplies and Materials: Monitor the movement of supplies and materials between departments to optimize production efficiency.
  • Perform Routine Clerical Duties: Perform routine clerical duties, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
  • Consult with Production Supervisor: Consult with the production supervisor to schedule production runs in a cost- and time-efficient manner.
  • Monitor Production Progress: Monitor production progress to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Provide Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
Requirements:
  • Criminal Record Check: A criminal record check is required for this position.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail is required to ensure accuracy and quality in all aspects of the job.
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Work Under Pressure: Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Weight Handling: Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and up to 45 kg (100 lbs) occasionally.

Experience:
  • Experience an Asset: Experience in a production or clerical role is an asset.
