Job Overview

Ghumaan Construction Limited is seeking a dedicated and skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry and be able to work in various environments.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in carpentry

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate labor and material costs
  • Interpret blueprints and sketches to determine project requirements
  • Prepare layouts in accordance with building regulations using measuring instruments
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials such as wood and lightweight steel
  • Construct foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect wall and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware
  • Coordinate and schedule work on-site
  • Train apprentices and supervise other team members
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Capable of handling heavy loads
  • Willingness to work overtime
