About the Role

Ghumaan Construction Limited is seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity of our buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to build foundations, install floor beams, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Schedule and coordinate work on construction sites
  • Supervise and instruct apprentices
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the trade
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy environments
  • Relocation costs covered by employer
