Company Overview: Altrad Services Canada is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Deputy Project Controls Manager, focusing on LNG projects. This position is essential for our operations and offers a structured work schedule.

Position Summary: The Deputy Project Controls Manager will oversee the Project Controls Team on-site, ensuring effective management and execution of project controls activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Workface Planning: Supervise the workface planning process, managing the team responsible for scope management, breakdown of Construction Work Packages (CWPs) into Installation Work Packages (IWPs), development and release of IWPs, progress measurement, and project close-out.
  • Planning and Scheduling: Oversee the planning process, which includes reviewing client schedules, updating internal schedules, communicating priorities to construction and management teams, resource-loading schedules, and providing regular updates to clients.
  • Client Liaison: Engage with client representatives and participate in necessary meetings.
  • M2M Management: Oversee the management of construction automation tools, with a specific focus on M2M.
  • Reporting: Compile and submit all mandatory reports to clients.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage the Project Controls team effectively.
  • Project Support: Provide project management assistance as needed.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Oil and Gas sector, particularly within a project-based environment.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of thriving in a dynamic work setting.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a talent for building and maintaining relationships across diverse groups.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
