About Altrad Services Canada

Altrad Services Canada is seeking a skilled Deputy Project Controls Manager with expertise in LNG to play a crucial role in our operations. This position involves a 14:7 or 20:8 work schedule, with 10-hour shifts. For candidates not residing locally, travel and accommodation arrangements will be provided under a Full-Time/Fixed-Term Contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Workface Planning: Support the oversight of the workface planning process and lead the workface planning team. This includes managing scope, breaking down Construction Work Packages (CWPs) into Individual Work Packages (IWPs), developing IWPs, overseeing the release process, measuring progress, and facilitating close-out.
  • Planning and Scheduling: Assist in managing the planning process by reviewing client schedules, updating internal schedules, communicating priorities to construction and management teams, resource-loading schedules, providing regular updates to clients, and aiding the construction team in their planning efforts.
  • Client Liaison: Engage with client representatives and participate in necessary meetings.
  • M2M Management: Oversee the management of construction automation tools utilized by AGJV, with a specific focus on M2M.
  • Reporting: Compile and deliver all mandatory reports to the client.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage the Project Controls team effectively.
  • Project Support: Provide project management assistance as needed.

Candidate Profile:

  • A minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience in a comparable role is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Oil and Gas sector, particularly within a project-driven environment.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, enabling the establishment and maintenance of robust relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
