Position Overview: The Deputy Project Controls Manager will oversee the Project Controls Team at a significant construction site. The role involves a 14:7 or 20:8 work schedule, with 10-hour shifts, and includes travel and accommodation for non-local candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Workface Planning: Support the management of the workface planning process, ensuring effective scope management and the breakdown of Construction Work Packages (CWPs) into Installation Work Packages (IWPs).
- Planning and Scheduling: Oversee the planning process, including the review and updating of schedules, communicating priorities, and assisting the construction team with their planning needs.
- Client Liaison: Engage with client representatives and participate in necessary meetings.
- Construction Automation Management: Manage the construction automation tools implemented by AGJV, with a focus on M2M.
- Reporting: Compile and deliver all required reporting to the client.
- Team Management: Lead and manage the Project Controls team effectively.
- Project Management Support: Provide additional project management assistance as needed.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity is required.
- In-depth knowledge of the Oil and Gas sector, particularly within project environments.
- Self-motivated individual capable of thriving in a dynamic work setting.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication abilities, fostering strong relationships across diverse teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
