Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Silent H. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
  • Analyze operating costs and other data to optimize kitchen efficiency.
  • Develop and implement new cooking techniques and equipment to enhance the dining experience.
  • Supervise and train specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Create innovative menus and recipes that meet the highest culinary standards.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events and banquets.
  • Supervise and coordinate the preparation and cooking of meals and specialty foods.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Consult with clients to understand their culinary needs and preferences.
  • Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities to ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards.
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
  • Recruit and hire staff to maintain a skilled and motivated kitchen team.
  • Supervise and train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to handle the demands of a busy kitchen.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
