We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Engineer or Engineering Technologist to join our Vancouver Island team at ISL Engineering & Land Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing design and construction services for various municipal engineering projects across the island.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with internal and external project team members and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Develop and implement design concepts and solutions for municipal engineering projects using Civil 3D, CAD, and other computer-aided drafting programs.
- Prepare engineering base plans, designs, drawings, and cost estimates for municipal engineering projects.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and third-party stakeholders to facilitate project requirements.
- Inspect construction of municipal engineering projects and provide input into project budgeting and scheduling.
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or Engineering Design Technology with registration (or eligible for registration) with AScT or B.Sc. in Civil Engineering and eligible for registration as an EIT with EGBC.
- 3+ years' experience in municipal or transportation engineering related fields.
- Working knowledge of Civil 3D/AutoCAD.
