In this role, you will play a crucial part in directing and overseeing environmental remediation projects, ensuring compliance with regulations, and delivering exceptional results for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on a range of environmental projects, including spill mitigation, delineation, remediation, and documentation.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to ensure successful project completion.
- Lead and mentor field staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation for clients, regulators, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to achieve project objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering (Environmental or Earth Sciences preferred) with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the environmental field.
- Proven track record of successful project management, including at least 5 years of experience leading environmental remediation projects.
- In-depth knowledge of soil and groundwater remediation techniques and best practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients, regulators, and stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French, with English as an asset.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Quebec.
