About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder - Fabrication Specialist to join our team at SMS Motors. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of metal fabrication and welding services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpretation and Execution: Interpret welding process specifications and execute them with precision, ensuring that all metal fabrication and welding work meets our high standards.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment, as well as manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment, to produce high-quality metal products.
  • Material Evaluation: Determine the weldability of materials and ensure that all metal products meet our quality standards.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Work Environment and Physical Capabilities
  • Attention to Detail: Possess excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination to ensure accurate and precise metal fabrication and welding work.
