About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at EP INDUSTRIES LTD. as a Fabrication and Repair Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welding and Fabrication: Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Quality Control: Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
  • Operational Efficiency: Start up, shut down, adjust, and monitor robotic welding production lines.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Physical Demands: Handling heavy loads, physically demanding, and manual dexterity required.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in welding and metal fabrication.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
