Job Title: Finance Project Manager

Alstom is seeking a highly skilled Finance Project Manager to lead finances for projects, providing financial analysis, advice, and guidance to support the project team in making informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a business partner to provide finance advice, guidance, and tutoring to the core project team.
  • Escalate risks and opportunities to increase management attention.
  • Forecast, challenge, and approve Project Financial KPIs such as cash, sales, and margin.
  • Control the project gross margin through detailed work package reviews.
  • Communicate with Project Stakeholders to provide reliable Business Cases to assist in decision-making.
  • Optimize financial aspects on the project, including Tax, Hedging, Financing.
  • Ensure Compliance with local regulations, especially for tax and statutory accounts purposes.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant project experience, including long and complex project control.
  • Planning, project performance, project accounting, and internal control experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Team player with Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Excellent knowledge in MS Excel, knowledge of SAP, and/or financial planning tools.
  • Fluent in other languages is a plus.
