Electronics Sales Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join our team at Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS). As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional retail services to our unique client base, including members of the Canadian Armed Forces and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting up and maintaining the electronics, computers, appliances, and furniture departments
  • Providing technical and professional advice on sales and products offered
  • Maintaining stock control, making recommendations for new merchandise, and preparing purchase orders
  • Assisting in developing markdown strategies, processing and tracking repairs, and assisting in the development of advertising programs
  • Providing a variety of other retail services, including regular retail services, dry cleaning, lottery services, self-serve gas services, and postal services

Requirements:

  • Acceptable combination of education, training, and experience
  • Food Handling Certification, as required
  • Experience in sales, visual merchandising, setting up departments, cash handling, and using basic office equipment
  • Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork, and leadership competencies
  • Bilingualism (Essential)
