What are your contributions to the team?

  • Oversee the procurement and flow of materials to meet scheduled operational needs within the established budget.
  • Ensure timely delivery of components.
  • Supply all necessary parts to the assembly line.
  • Be accountable for adherence to the final line schedule for part deliveries.
  • Manage the disposal of obsolete or inactive inventory.
  • Coordinate inter-site demand effectively.
  • Minimize discrepancies and deviations from plans by proposing sustainable short-term solutions and raising awareness among partners regarding the impact of their work on profitability and client satisfaction.
  • Manage inventory levels and incoming material flow.
  • Release planned orders to relevant purchasing documentation.
  • Handle activities related to non-conforming materials to meet schedules.
  • Manage incoming shipments (traffic inbound).
  • Ensure compliance of documentation with internal and external regulations.
  • Maintain engineering and manufacturing configuration.
  • Participate in improvement projects and demand-to-supply processes (cost reductions, Six Sigma, manufacturing enhancements, etc.).
  • Support program management by participating in program reviews and providing information related to any schedule changes.
  • Assist sourcing teams in negotiations and commodity projects.

How to thrive in this role?

  • You possess a bachelor's degree in administration or operations management.
  • You have five (5) to eight (8) years of experience in Materials or Inventory Management.
  • You have work or internship experience in external production, which is an asset.
  • You have experience or knowledge of SAP, which is an asset.
  • You demonstrate a strong sense of ethics and are customer-focused.
  • You possess good analytical, planning, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • You are bilingual (French and English spoken and written).
