Top Aces is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Inventory Coordinator to support our inventory management activities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory processes.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, including receipts, issues, and transfers.
- Perform material receipts and validate received materials against purchase orders and certifications.
- Issue and transfer materials to various operating sites, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Prepare items for shipping, adhering to special packaging instructions when required.
- Book courier shipments using the appropriate platform.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
- Manage and control inventory in various satellite warehouses, ensuring optimal storage and retrieval.
- Maintain valid certifications for handling and shipping dangerous goods.
- Establish and maintain current inventory of hazardous materials and explosives.
- Obtain and manage warehouse supplies, including ordering and tracking inventory.
- Communicate with local employees and logistics teams to manage and mitigate the impact of overdue orders.
- Support safety programs and quality management systems.
- Travel to various operating sites to support inventory management initiatives.
- Attend training courses to maintain qualifications and stay up-to-date with industry best practices.
- Assist in the on-the-job training and instruction of personnel as required.
- Previous experience in shipping/receiving and/or inventory/stores management.
- Previous military or commercial aviation logistics experience is a significant asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers in English.
- Excellent computer proficiency, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with AMS and/or Sharepoint is an asset.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude while providing exemplary customer service.
- Team player with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High level of professionalism, demonstrating courtesy and respect for team members.
- Ability to perform all work in support of our Corporate Values of Safety, Teamwork, Focus, and Integrity.
- Shift working (day, night, and weekend).
- Travel is required for the position, and international travel may also be required.
