The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies to increase brand awareness, understanding, and revenue.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute comprehensive communication campaigns to engage various stakeholder groups, including Canadians, internal employees, donors, partners, and healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with the Senior Manager, Communications and Stakeholder Relations, to identify opportunities for proactive development of national communications campaigns.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare organizations, publications, and influencers.
- Oversee the development and implementation of internal and external communication strategies, including earned media opportunities, storytelling, and social media engagement.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage, and provide regular updates to key stakeholders, including RMHC Canada leadership, Board of Directors, and McDonald's Canada.
- Proven experience in communications, preferably in a non-profit or corporate setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
- Strong understanding of digital and social media platforms, including analytics and trend identification.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to navigate complex issues and stakeholder relationships.
