Job Title: Industrial Electrician

New 5 Electrical Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Industrial Electrician to work on various electrical systems, including switchgear, transformers, and control systems. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical codes and specifications, as well as experience with troubleshooting and repair of industrial electrical equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Test and maintain electrical equipment and systems to ensure they are functioning properly
  • Install and repair electrical motors, generators, and control systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical control systems and other related devices
  • Interpret electrical code specifications and drawings to determine layout of electrical equipment installations
  • Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in industrial electrical work
  • Ability to work at heights, in cold/refrigerated environments, and in confined spaces
  • Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Work Environment:

The Industrial Electrician will work in a variety of locations, including outdoors and in confined spaces. The work environment will be physically demanding, with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.
