Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Methods to Meet Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient scheduling systems to ensure that our kitchen runs smoothly and that our staff are adequately trained and prepared for their shifts.
  • Requisition Food and Kitchen Supplies: Source and procure high-quality food and kitchen supplies to meet the needs of our kitchen.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities of Staff: Lead and direct the activities of our kitchen staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our quality standards.
  • Train Staff in Job Duties, Sanitation, and Safety Procedures: Provide comprehensive training to our staff on their job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates to ensure that our kitchen operates within our financial parameters.
  • Address Customers' Complaints or Concerns: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints and concerns, ensuring that our customers receive excellent service.
  • Maintain Records of Stock, Repairs, Sales, and Wastage: Maintain accurate records of our stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform our purchasing and inventory management decisions.
  • Prepare and Submit Reports: Prepare and submit regular reports to management on our kitchen's performance, including sales, customer feedback, and staff performance.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
