Responsibilities

  • Partner strategically with assigned internal clients to support medium to complex short- and long-term projects.
  • Identify and execute appropriate communication methods to provide stakeholders with project status.
  • Consistently review and maintain documentation to identify, evaluate, scope, plan, monitor, and follow up on active projects.
  • Continually identify, assess, monitor, and communicate project issues and risks to stakeholders.
  • Operate in a self-directed manner, identifying and addressing risk mitigation, process improvement, and support needs affecting project delivery.
  • Generate and execute project plans, revising as necessary to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, working with leadership and other team members to develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
  • Identify and track project issues, providing regular status updates within the project team until resolved.
  • Complete assigned projects effectively and efficiently, maintaining a high level of proficiency by delivering high-quality work on time.
  • Provide ongoing project support, oversight, and process adherence for assigned projects.
  • Facilitate change management planning and support the rollout of new projects and programs.
  • Work to provide analysis, development, and documentation of improvement opportunities, including implementation and training components.
  • Provide oversight and advocacy for the effective and efficient use of internal systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related area or equivalent experience.

Technical/SOFT Skills (Required)

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Demonstrated experience with project management software, specifically those applications supported by the firm, including Smartsheets.
  • Ability to adapt to technology changes.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple project priorities.
  • Strong organization, prioritization, time management skills, and attention to detail.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years working in a project/operations area with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects with moderate to high risk.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience working with management-level individuals, preferably within a mid-to-large size firm or other professional services experience.
  • Experience in navigating a matrix reporting environment, solving/resolving complex issues.

  • Ability to effectively communicate across all levels, knowing the audience and adapting appropriately.
  • Process analysis, project management skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative team.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Exercise professional judgment in managing confidential or sensitive information.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously and exhibit a professional demeanor to internal clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, working well with a variety of work styles.

  • Shows motivation and initiative to learn and grow beyond project work, sharing knowledge with the team and applying past experiences and lessons learned to new situations.
  • Continually enhances and builds upon knowledge base of the project to update and inform leadership as necessary.
  • Ability to support and assist with change implementation assignments.
  • Ability to train, mentor, and provide guidance and feedback to other team members.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP Certification.
  • Change Management Specialist Certification.
  • Certified Scrum Master.
  • Prior experience with SharePoint.
