We are currently seeking a Senior Tax Manager or Principal to join our team, with the flexibility to work from any of our local offices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating closely with partners, managers, and senior staff on business tax compliance, tax provisions, and advisory engagements.
  • Delivering exceptional tax planning, services, and strategic advice.
  • Leading specialized tax engagements.
  • Providing ongoing support, mentorship, and professional development to staff regarding tax knowledge and issues.
  • Identifying and nurturing new business opportunities for clients.
  • Preparing and conducting technical training sessions for firm staff.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on taxation.
  • Canadian Professional Accounting Designation (CPA).
  • Successful completion of the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course or a Master's in Taxation.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, along with project management and organizational abilities.
  • Proven leadership skills with the capacity to mentor and develop team members.
  • High proficiency in MS Office, Caseware/Casview, TaxPrep, and tax research software.
  • Demonstrated project management and time management skills to effectively organize and execute projects.
  • A strong commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
  • Bilingualism in French and English is considered an asset.
