Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Flooring Installation Specialist to join our team at Maple Ridge Carpet One Center 2014 Ltd. This role involves working with various types of flooring materials and ensuring high-quality installations.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 to less than 3 years in flooring installation.
Work Environment

The work environment can be dusty, and the role is physically demanding, requiring the handling of heavy loads.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered.
  • Prepare detailed flooring plans and manage scheduling.
  • Measure, cut, and install carpeting on floors.
  • Measure, cut, and install resilient floor coverings.
  • Prepare and install hardwood flooring.
  • Prepare floors for new installations and remove existing coverings.
  • Install carpeting on walls or other surfaces as needed.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
