The Role

We're looking for a Senior Manager, People Partnerships to lead a team of People & Planning Managers (HRBPs) and collaborate closely with senior leadership and department heads to implement People initiatives that enhance employee engagement, performance, and retention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of People and Planning Managers, providing guidance and support in executing People strategies and initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with senior leaders and business unit heads to understand their needs and challenges, and develop People solutions that drive business success.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to develop and implement talent management strategies, including workforce planning, performance management, and employee development.
  • Understand Jobber's People strategy and utilize it to drive performance through existing people programs and the development and delivery of new people solutions.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on complex People issues, ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.
  • Drive change management initiatives and organizational development efforts to foster a high-performance culture.
  • Lead People projects and programs aimed at enhancing employee engagement, and performance across the organization.
  • Analyze People metrics and data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Stay connected to the tech sector by providing insights and advice on a rapidly changing competitive landscape.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in People business partnering or People team leadership roles, preferably in a fast-growing tech organization.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and launch new programs company-wide.
  • Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to translate business needs into People initiatives and solutions.
  • Solid understanding of industry best practices, employment laws, and employee relations.
  • Experience in change management, organizational development, and talent management.
  • Resilient and persistent in the face of challenges, with the ability to bring innovation to your everyday work.
