Position: Service Clerk – Full-Time (Temporary)
Reporting Structure:
Reports to: Operations Manager
Department: Operations
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily scheduling of field staff, ensuring optimal resource allocation to meet customer demands.
- Manage and validate chargeable service calls, ensuring accurate billing and customer satisfaction.
- Act as a primary point of contact for technicians, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Handle customer escalations and requests for revised appointments, ensuring timely resolutions.
- Reconcile service transactions, validating charges and balancing cash drawers.
- Maintain accurate records in relevant systems and prepare reports as required.
- Coordinate with customers regarding back-ordered products and parts sourcing.
- Analyze incoming demand data to optimize resource allocation and service delivery.
- Provide general business support, including handling inbound and outbound calls.
- Proactively manage the scheduling board to ensure availability for all service types.
- Effectively resolve customer complaints, ensuring satisfaction for both the customer and the company.
- Undertake special projects and additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in relevant software applications, including scheduling and financial analysis tools.
- Ability to multitask and effectively communicate using various technology platforms.
- Proven organizational and decision-making skills.
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education is an asset.
