Job Summary:

Metalcraft Technology Inc is seeking a skilled Laser Punch Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating CNC laser/punching machines, ensuring high-quality production and meeting production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Start-up and shut down CNC laser/punching machines, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machine to minimize downtime.
  • Read, analyze, and interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate production.
  • Program nesting software to maximize material usage and reduce waste.
  • Inspect and verify the quality of produced parts against specifications.
  • Perform operator maintenance and 5S housekeeping to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Load and unload material using a forklift, ensuring efficient material handling.

Requirements:

  • Forklift certification required.
  • Ability to work with and edit machine computer programs.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Attention to detail and positive attitude.
  • Quality-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality results.
