Job Summary:

Metalcraft Technology Inc is seeking a skilled Laser Punch Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating CNC laser/punching machines to produce high-quality metal parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Start-up and shut down CNC laser/punching machines to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machine to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Read, analyze, and interpret technical drawings to understand production requirements.
  • Program nesting software to optimize material usage and reduce waste.
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
  • Load and unload material using a forklift to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the production team.

Requirements:

  • Forklift certification required.
  • Ability to work with and edit machine computer programs.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Attention to detail and positive attitude.
  • Quality-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality results.
