Clinical Dietitian

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our Primary Care department.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will work collaboratively with interprofessional teams to develop and implement plans of care, providing evidence-based nutrition advice and support to patients. You will be responsible for assessing patients' nutritional needs, developing treatment plans, and providing education and support to patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Assess patients' nutritional needs and develop treatment plans
- Provide evidence-based nutrition advice and support to patients
- Work collaboratively with interprofessional teams to develop and implement plans of care
- Develop and implement nutrition education programs for patients and their families
- Conduct nutritional assessments and provide recommendations for patients with chronic diseases
- Baccalaureate degree in nutrition and dietetics
- Successful completion of an accredited dietetic internship program
- Registration with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia
- Two years of clinical nutrition experience in a healthcare environment
- Valid BC Driver's License
