Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our Primary Care team at Northern Health Authority. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will work collaboratively with interprofessional teams to develop and implement plans of care for patients. Your expertise in nutrition and dietetics will be essential in providing high-quality care and promoting health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients with complex nutritional needs
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care and support
  • Conduct nutritional assessments and provide evidence-based recommendations
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on healthy eating and lifestyle habits
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes

Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree in nutrition and dietetics
  • Successful completion of an accredited dietetic internship program
  • Registration with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia
  • Two years of clinical nutrition experience in a healthcare environment
  • Valid BC Driver's License
