Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Specialist I to join our team at Enbridge. As a key member of our Ethics and Compliance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our operations and maintaining a culture of compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigations: Conduct thorough and timely investigations into ethics and compliance matters, including reviewing evidence, interviewing witnesses, and preparing detailed reports.
  • Policy Development: Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and guidelines to support the effective implementation of our Ethics and Compliance program.
  • Training and Communication: Design and deliver training programs to ensure that employees understand their compliance obligations and can identify and report ethics and compliance issues.
  • Advisory Services: Provide guidance and advice to employees on ethics and compliance matters, including contract reviews and conflict of interest inquiries.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance the effectiveness of our Ethics and Compliance program.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, law, or ethics.
  • Experience: At least 7 years of experience in a compliance or ethics role, with a strong background in investigations, policy development, and training.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

  • Office Work: This role will be based in an office environment, with occasional travel required.

Flexwork:

Enbridge offers a flexible work arrangement that allows employees to work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays, and to have a flexible start and end time.
