Job Title: Business Integration Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Integration Specialist to join our team at GFL Environmental Inc. This role will be responsible for supporting the integration of acquired entities into our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing a detailed integration plan, including coordination and tracking of tasks for each acquisition.
- Monitor and review due diligence materials in data rooms, and provide integration-related materials to verticals as required.
- Prepare for financial assurance replacement, prepare fuel cards and p-card replacement, and coordinate supplier transition.
- Support the integration controller in preparing acquisition integration presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Review, analyze, and clean various data received prior to conversion into GFL systems.
- Build integration data books, including compiling site-level information.
- Help map the acquired entity's trial balance to GFL's trial balance, ensuring consistency and alignment with classification of accounts.
- Actively monitor the acquired entity's balance sheet reconciliations.
- Act as the point of contact for GFL requests of the acquired entity's staff and provide day-to-day support on administrative issues.
Requirements:
- Exceptional organization/project management skills.
- Knowledge of Great Plains, Cognos, Tower, and Trux are assets.
- Knowledge of the waste management business is an asset.
- Knowledge of project management tools is an asset.
Work Environment:
This role will primarily be in an office environment at our main site operation. Travel will be required in conjunction with acquisitions. Periodic weekend or evening work is expected.
