Job Title: IT Manager

The IT Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth integration of new businesses into GFL's systems and processes. This position requires a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, and the ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage the integration of new businesses into GFL's systems and processes
  • Conduct onsite visits for IT discovery and assessment of new acquisitions
  • Assess, order, and plan the deployment of new employee workstations and network infrastructure
  • Develop and execute integration plans for new company systems, software, and hardware
  • Ensure business continuity during the integration process
  • Drive escalations to resolution within expected SLAs and project timelines
  • Lead deployment tasks related to account provisioning and asset management
  • Manage a team of IT system analysts and interface with other verticals within the project team
Requirements:
  • College diploma or university degree in Business Technology Management, Business Information Systems, or a related field
  • 5-10 years' work experience in IT integration, project delivery, or a similar role
  • PMP certification is considered an asset
  • Advanced competency with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong scheduling, asset management, and technical deployment experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional discretion is mandatory due to the handling of confidential information
  • Customer service-oriented with the ability to work well in teams and independently
  • Emotional intelligence and awareness to understand constituents in all areas of the business
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently throughout Canada and the US
