Financial Integration Specialist

This role will be responsible for supporting the integration of acquired entities into GFL Environmental Inc.'s financial systems. The successful candidate will assist in developing and implementing integration plans, coordinating tasks, and monitoring project health.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement detailed integration plans for acquired entities, including coordination and tracking of tasks.
- Provide pre-closing integration support, including monitoring and reviewing due diligence materials, preparing integration-related materials, and coordinating supplier transitions.
- Assist in monitoring overall project health and providing support to the integration controller.
- Review and analyze data received prior to conversion into GFL's systems.
- Build integration data books and compile site-level information.
- Exceptional organization and project management skills.
- Knowledge of Great Plains, Cognos, Tower, and Trux is an asset.
- Knowledge of the waste management business and project management tools is an asset.
- Primarily in an office environment at the main site operation.
- Travel will be required in conjunction with acquisitions.
- Periodic weekend or evening work is expected.
