Key Responsibilities:
  • Store Management: Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability, monitor inventory levels, and make product ordering decisions based on sales trends.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise store staff to provide exceptional customer service, create employee schedules, and manage staffing levels.
  • Administration: Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and expenses, prepare reports for senior management, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Community Engagement: Engage with the community by representing the store in local events, building relationships with local organizations, and fostering goodwill and support for the store.
Requirements:
  • Expert-level French communication skills.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in retail with 1 year of leadership experience.
  • Ability to coach and lead teams, adapt leadership styles, and effectively manage tasks, schedules, and projects.
  • Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Dedicated individual with a strong commitment to community engagement.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and travel for training and relocation.
