Restaurant Manager Job Description

Indish Restaurant is seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to lead our team and drive business success. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staff Management: Supervise and train a team of 16-20 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and efficient operations.
  • Operations: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily restaurant operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and cash handling.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, addressing complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Marketing: Participate in marketing plans and implementation, promoting the restaurant and increasing sales.
  • Financial Management: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms, ensuring accurate financial records.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and strong leadership skills
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office, MS Access, and point of sale systems
Working Conditions:
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced restaurant environment with tight deadlines
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a standing position for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move quickly in a fast-paced environment
